So, it's safe to say this was one of the most exciting, mind-blowing, and amazing summers of my life. Ahhhh!!! I really still need a moment because if I had to describe my summer in one word, it would be wow. That's it, just wow. I got to experience some amazing people, places, and things. One of which was interning at NASA! yes, NASA! I never imagined this! but God did. I spent three months conducting research at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA as a member of the Richmond Disasters team 🌊. The research project focused on tracking and assessing stormwater flooding in Richmond, VA, to improve water quality monitoring and resource management. I am excited to use the experiences and knowledge gained to inform my research focused on environmental health and hazards in southeast Louisiana. Take a look at some of my favorite memories from this summer. I am beyond grateful for this experience and will never forget it.
